Sicuramente non sei l'unico, perché io per esempio è una settimana e mezza che ho ricominciato ad elaborare su WCG, ma non riesco a vedere i crediti reali che ho fatto, né qui sulle classifiche di BOINC.Italy, né su BAM! BOINCStats, ma per quest'ultimo mi hanno informato che lì forse il problema è dei server WCG.

Mi sono appena accorto che sono riapparse le stats!

A breve rilasceranno le wu cpu per il sottoprogetto MAM1, che prevede anche un futuro client gpu....

The whole WCG thing is quite baffling to me. They state in their status updates that they plan to do things within the next week but two months later, nothing. This isn't an isolated thing as it happens over and over again. So much so, it is becoming predictable. Their estimation ability is far from optimal to say the least. Additionally, the ARP1 project is now about 6 years old and they still haven't started sending any work on any consistent basis. I'm surprised the PI hasn't just killed the project. I think was intended originally to be a two year project that now is about 6 and still counting. How useful is the data now and when is the grant/support going to run out? Is there anyone left at Delft from the original APR1 research team?

Be Careful!!! WCG released some multi-threaded MAM work units this morning that use 16 CPUs and "unlimited" memory causing the Systemd-oom (out of memory) process to kill the boinc process. I say "unlimited" because it used all 64GB on my smaller systems and there were reports on servers of it attempting to use as much as 201GB. 2 of my systems were down for about 5 hours before I was able to determine the cause and restart the boinc process. When you restart the boinc process, it attempts to restart the MAM WUs and the process terminates before you have an opportunity to abort the MAM work.
