Avevo già letto! ;) Però la voglio vedere all'opera sul campo prima di dare un giudizio! :)

Calma, calma. La versione GPU la stanno testando internamente e dipenderà da come gireranno correttamente le versioni per cpu (usciranno tutte entro il 28 c.m.). Speriamo entro fine anno....magari si riesce a vedere come girano con le ati 6000 :asd:

Timo risponde a chi chiedeva se, essendo l'elaborazione delle wu molto più veloce in Opencl (circa 7 volte sulla stessa cpu), le wu sarebbero durate di meno:

Well we make the tasks as long as need be usually. The faster forcefield enables us in general to simulate bigger - more relevant proteins, so I guess the workunit length will be the same


Durata uguale, proteine più complesse...vediamo

Sep 17 , 2010 - Windows Client delayed a bit
English: Although we were still working hard until now to bring the Windows Client out, we won't make it anymore today. We didn't find any major bugs since release with the Linux client, but the building process under Windows is a lot harder and we ran into a few walls, we didn't expect before (boinc libraries didn't compile at first under gcc, same for the boost libs and then also the Eigen libs). We will now target Monday, the 20th for the release. Sorry for that. There are good news also though: On the 25th the KiT (where we work) will have an open day. At least two of our team will also participate. So if you are interested in the KITs work in general, step by. The program of the whole open day is downloadable at the link above.

Yes, they 'should' be solved now. But we are still running tests.
