basta scaricare la 0.37

Se vuoi faccio una prova questa sera ... basta scaricare la 0.37 e piazzare il file nella dir di installazione ?

Il fatto che e' per ora uso ancora BoincView perche' credo che sia l'unico che mostra la CPU efficiency correttamente.

non so come funzioni, però confermo che ho tradotto la 0.38
Comunque non penso che accetti il file direttamente perché ci ho lasciato dentro dei commenti riguardo le cose non tradotte. Presumo che vadano rimossi per lasciarglielo leggere

Per ora dal mio PC di controllo di casa, non parte neanche, mi da un errore sulla chiamata a freeaddrinfo della WS2_32.dll
Probabilmente ha qualche problema su windows 2000.

Proverò domani da un PC XP o vista.

When do you get this error?

Probably in the Find Computer dialog? or if you used this dialog.
I made some changes in 0.40 that hopefully solves this problem.
According to the Microsoft documentation is should , but I got no way to test it.

Starting the program 0.39 (without the italian lang file), I can see only this message:

I think is a tipical error that I see on win2000 with "too new" programs that are not tested on this old OS.

Think that may be the same problem I found with the NTP client of the QCN@home project. The discussion was on this thread and the basic dll problem, ( here ) should be the same.

I've run BT on XP and Vista, see the attached screenshots.

On XP the ita lang go up without actions, and seems works although there are not translated points.

On Vista it seems not works, I've even try to modify the language.xml file adding 5 rows for the italian file. But I dont know which <id> to use so I've insert a random number ...

I'm start to play with BT, and have some notes for next releases, hoping will not already FAQs

If the global BOINC CPU activity status is "suspend", BT contiune to show green the suspend WUs, and the "CPU %" is shown also when is not significant:

is it possible show these WUs gray or with the color of the global status ?
BTW seems don't exists a setup color for the global status, but only the projects and task sub-status tabs in the color setup.

Should be also useful an icon for each PC in the "sidebar computer selection" with a color that match the activity global status (and/or summarise the status of alarms) and a icon that match the network activity status.

How is calculated the "CPU %" ? Seems that it is a very long term average of the current CPU efficiency.
Should be also useful show in a separate column the istant CPU efficiency to show user process that (correctly or not) heavily use the CPU. And even use it to rise alarms.

It is, maybe that 0.40 solves the problem, I did everything that should be done according to the Microsoft documentation.
