Non credo che si possa... La selezione non dovrebbe essere solo tra quelli supportati dal team e su cui si può scaccolare senza la necessità di particolari strumenti (v. sensori o gpu)?

C'è di buono che prendere a calci in culo la propria community mentre si gestisce un progetto di calcolo distribuito...non è una buona idea perchè potrebbe andarsene

The sad (or annoying) thing is that 'forthcoming' has nothing to do with this project. If you are looking to a BOINC project, look elsewhere as there are many projects where the administrators actually care and the projects are producing useful work - that simply hasn't been the case here ever.The impressive thing about this site is that it is still up and running with absolutely no administrative effort.
I suppose someone could place a test post here -- say something which is in total violation of general message board behavioral rules (sexually explicit, obscene, etc.) -- just to see how long that message would stay on the board - not my style though.

As you said this project is dead and been dead for a long time!
Got some friends in Michigan and no one knows where , who or what of this project. It most be one of those project that is so sensitive that the administrators don't even know that it exist.Like searching for Bin Laden! At least he come up with news once in a while but this are worst, they just hide and don't say a word.Hate how they can give a bad name to a good cause and as you mention new people trying to join and donate their time and money to run this projects might think that Boinc is not worth the effort.Sad to say that persons involve in my profession can behave like this. It takes 5 min. to do a simple posting stating, we are working or we are down, be back in a year or so. and request to be put in standby status in Boinc.
But like in every place there are always a few charlatans that try to take advantage. Who knows if they got a gov. grant and just put some Wu's to make it look that they were working then just walk away with the money. That is the impression I get. Bunch of cheap thieves!

Per fortuna non ho mai partecipato attivamente a questo progetto!!
