E' partito un progetto per un Boinc manager moderno e centralizzato da parte di un volontario.
Queste le caratteristiche del manager:

E' ancora in via sperimentale e l'autore ne pubblica una versione aggiornata praticamente ogni 2 giorni.

After just a brief look at the github site, it looks like a Boinc Manager/Boinc Client replacement. I assume you run the Iris Client on each machine (similar to the Boinc Client now) and the Iris Manager on a host that can then manage the local and remote clients (Again, similar to the current Boinc architecture). I don't especially like the config files and data in the home directory (~/.config/iris for example). I didn't see any config parameter similar to DATA_DIR that would allow it to be moved somewhere else. Maybe as it matures those things will get ironed out.

Yes. The developer said is still "in beta" phase (and he accept advices/ideas)
